St. Christopher's Hostel at the Winston, Amsterdam!

The Hostel we stayed at St. Christopher's Hostel at The Winston was my first hostel experience and it was amazing! No complaints! Definitely the best place to stay when going to Amsterdam! Was once voted one of the best Party Hostels in the World! Great Great Location right between Dam Square and the Red Light District and 5 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station!  St. Christopher's at The Winston Amsterdam on Facebook!

The Winston art hostel includes the Belushi's bar, beer garden, large indoor smoking area with pool table! It's nice that it has it's own smoking room, as a lot of bars in Amsterdam still allow smoking in the bar! Belushis Amsterdam on Facebook!

As you walk through the hallways and into your room you will see all different kinds of art covering the walls!  Designed by independent local and international artists, or sponsored by famous brands.

Our 8 dorm room! You can choose private rooms or dorm accommodation, all include a bathroom and shower!

Bunk Beds! Everyday they will clean your room with fresh linens and towels! Lockers under every bed are free to use if you bring your own padlock and there are also automated paid lockers right by the check-in desk (for use before check-in or after check-out).

Looney Tunes graffiti! Loved it!

The Amsterdam Pimp duck!

First night in after traveling all day!

It was nice that the shower and toilet where in separate rooms! Also 3 sinks in the room! Good when sharing with 7 other people! At least we all knew each other!

We did a lot of partying and relaxing at the on-site Belushi's bar and restaurant. There were sports on TV, the greatest music playlist out of any other bar we went to in Amsterdam, great food, and drink deals!  A 2 for 1 promos on Beck's, Absolut Vodka, Jameson Whiskey and Havana Club Rum - with mixer. Also €1.50 Jägermeisters and €1 Apple Sourz shots!

Rock N' Roll hall of fame.

I like this! The bar menu is full of hearty and healthy food at great prices. We tried a veggie hummus wrap, the towering nachos, the juicy burger, chicken wings, and the chicken dinner and they were all amazing! Reminded me of home! I haven't been able to get food like that in 7 months! All hostel guests get a 25% discount on the entire food menu, which was another great perk of eating meals there!

The Girls!

Kevin and I! wish it wasn't fuzzy!

The breakfast was amazing, healthy, and complimentary! Including cereals, granola, milk, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, sliced bread, meats, cheeses, jams, bananas, apples, oranges, juice, and coffee! Not much else you really need. Breakfast runs 8-10 AM so not everyone was able to get up everyday! I think Missy and I are the only ones that never missed a breakfast!

Absinthe tastes like black licorice..

We started every night at the same table!

Fingers! Drinking games are the best because I never lost! ;)

Good people good times! Another great feature of the hostels security was that they gave us this piece of paper that each and everyone of us had to have on us at all times to get into the hostel at night. Since a lot of people came out to this bar it made it feel very safe.
