Vicenza is a thriving and cosmopolitan city, with a rich history and culture, and many museums, art galleries, piazzas, villas, churches and elegant Renaissance palazzi. Vicenza is the third-largest Italian industrial center as measured by the value of its exports of textiles, steel, gold, and jewelry, and is one of the country's wealthiest cities. It is beautiful and the home to one of the most famous creations in Architecture and Design! The Palladian Window designed by the Venetian Architect Andrea Palladio (1508-1580). Vicenza is home to 23 buildings designed by Palladio! Photos from two different times in Vicenza! It is just right down the mountain from Asiago and I absolutely love this city! The Architecture is so grand and beautiful and the city is very clean with great shopping!
